Wednesday, March 10 from 10am to 11am at the Centre County Library in Bellefonte—BASIC COMPUTER CLASSES (pre-registration encouraged; space limited):

            Very Basic Computer class:  People who want to learn to point and click can join us for very beginning instruction.

 

Tuesday, March 16 at 6:30pm at the Centre County Library in Bellefonte--EDIBLES IN THE LANDSCAPE:
Learn how to get started in your own backyard with edibles such as herbs, flowers, berry-producing shrubs and trees, including information on the best varieties, where to find them, and how to grow them at this program presented by the Bellefonte Garden Club.

 

Wednesday, March 17 from 6:30pm to 7:30pm at the Centre County Library in Bellefonte—ADULT BOOK DISCUSSION GROUP

            The Adult Book Discussion group meets the third Wednesday of each month in the Library building at 6:30pm.  Come pick up your copy of the March selection at the Centre County Library Circulation Desk!

 

Sunday, March 21 at 2:30pm in the Centre County Library Historical Museum’s Miller Room—SUNDAY AFTERNOON CONCERT:

            The Easterly Chamber Players—Smith Toulson on clarinet, Diane Gold Toulson on flute, and Anne Sullivan on harp—present a recital of classical French music.

 

Wednesday, March 24 at 3:30pm at the Centre County Library in Bellefonte—GOING LOCAL WITH AUTHOR KEN HULL:

            Join us for a book signing and lively discussion about this Adventurer’s Guide to Unique Eats, Cool Pubs, & Cozy Cafes of Central Pennsylvania.

 

Thursday, March 25 at 6pm at the Centre County Library in Bellefonte—FINANCIAL HOUSEKEEPING SERIES:  “Identity Theft—How to Spot It and How to Stop It”   Presented by Tina Brownson of Consumer Credit Counseling Services

 

BOOK BABIES—Stories and movement activities geared for kids up to 2 years old with a favorite adult IN THE KIDZONE at the Centre County Library in Bellefonte:

            March 9 at 9:15am: “Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes”—Stories and activities about body parts.

            March 16 at 9:15am: “Colors of the Rainbow”—Colorful stories and activities.

            March 23 at 9:15am: “On the Move”—Vehicular tales and activities.

            March 30 at 9:15am: “The Bunny Hop”—Rabbit tales and activities.

 

STORYTIME—Stories and follow-up activity geared for 2- to 6-year-olds with a favorite adult IN THE KIDZONE at the Centre County Library in Bellefonte:

           March 8 at 1:30pm & March 9 at 10:30am: “All About Me”—Stories about body parts and a related craft.

            March 15 at 1:30pm & March 16 at 10:30am:  “Bein’ Green”—Green tales and a green craft.

            March 22 at 1:30pm & March 23 at 10:30am:  “On the Move”—Stories about vehicles followed by a craft on the move.

            March 29 at 1:30pm & March 30 at 10:30am:  “Bunny Hop”—Rabbit tales with a bunny craft.

 

BOOK BINGO—Friday, March 19 from 6:30 to 8pm IN THE KIDZONE at the Centre County Library in Bellefonte—(geared for the whole family including at least one adult): 

            Kids who know their letters and numbers, along with a favorite adult, can try their luck during this after-hours evening of bingo with books as prizes for the winners.

            Homeschoolers will be meeting Thursdays evening during our Elementary Activities programs to discuss interests, activities, lend support, and share experiences.  All homeschooling parents are welcome and encouraged to try it out!
