PennSylvania Room

The Pennsylvania Room is located in the historic Miles-Potter-Humes House, an early nineteenth century Georgian home situated in the heart of downtown Bellefonte. It is a branch of Centre County Library & Historical Museum that specializes in Central Pennsylvania genealogy, as well as state and local history. If you are planning a visit to the Pennsylvania Room, we recommend you explore our Plan Your Visit webpage. If you are unable to visit, but still want to utilize our collections, learn more about our librarian research services here.

  • Monday-Friday: 12PM - 5PM

  • Mornings and third Saturdays available by appointment after June 1, 2023

  • Sunday: Closed

The PA Room is currently searching for Bellefonte High School Yearbooks and Bald Eagle High School Yearbooks to complete our collections. Any donation of a Bellefonte Area Highschool Yearbook from the following years would be greatly appreciated:

1931-1946, 1995, 2001 and 2003

Any donation of a Bald Eagle Highschool Yearbook from the following years would also be greatly appreciated:

1968, 1970-1972, 1976, 1979, 1980, 1994
