This program is a partnership between the Centre County Library and Strawberry Fields and is presented by Chris Orndorff, a Special Instructor. This time is set aside for children 18 months to just before Kindergarten who are working on various sensory processing skills or would benefit from a low stress trip to the library. The Library will be closed during this hour, so the space will be much quieter than when we are open.
Additionally, softer, sensory friendly toys are placed in the children's area to enrich learning without overwhelming. If your child is working on anything specific or needs special accommodations, please let us know below. Please note that all children will need to be with a caregiver at all times during their visit. Spaces are limited to ensure the comfortable nature of the visit for all patrons.
