expanding the centre hall area branch library - a capital campaign

The Centre County Library & Historical Museum, Partnership for Penns Valley Library Services, and various Penns Valley community members have embarked on a capital campaign to raise the money needed to expand the Centre Hall Area Branch Library. Expansion is needed to serve a growing population in Penns Valley with more space, resources, and dedicated meeting/study rooms.

“A library in the middle of a community is a cross between an emergency exit, a life-raft, and a festival. They are cathedrals of the mind; hospitals of the soul; theme parks of the imagination.”

Caitlin Moran, journalist
