The Memory Lab (located in the Historical Museum building) is a free-to-use digitization station that can be used to convert outdated media, including audio cassette tapes, floppy discs, VHS videos, slides and negatives, photographs, and computer hard drives. There is no charge to use the Memory Lab, but an appointment must be made, and users must bring their own storage device (such as a flash drive, external hard drive, or DVD).
Appointments can be requested for two-hour blocks during the hours listed below:
Mondays: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Tuesdays: 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Wednesdays: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Thursdays: 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Fridays: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Third Saturday of the Month: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
After you submit your request form, you will be contacted via email by a Pennsylvania Room staff member, who will work with you to schedule your appointment.
