What is Sound Healing?

  • Holt Memorial Library 17 North Front Street Philipsburg, PA, 16866 United States (map)

Sound healing is a holistic practice that uses the power of sounds produced from various instruments to repair imbalances in the body, mind, and spirit. It works by applying the harmonic frequencies that resonate with different parts of our body to bring them back into balance.

Teens and adults are invited to learn about sound healing and share a moment of peaceful, calming nervous system regulation with local certified sound healer Jennifer Malloy. She will bring her quartz bowls, chimes, tuning forks, and wave drum, you only need to bring a yoga mat and blanket. Please call the library at 814-342-1987 to register for the event as space is limited.

This is a Summer Library Pursuit program. You are invited to register for the Summer Library Pursuit as well if you haven’t already.
