Results from this survey will help us bring an even better Summer Library Pursuit to you and your family next year!
“Unearth A Story” field journal for tracking your experience throughout the Summer Library Pursuit.
Track your reading and activities throughout the summer using your own paper field journal! Each week you will check off activities and write in your daily reading minutes. Then, come into the library and get your completed activities and minutes stamped to earn tickets for weekly prizes. Your fully stamped journal can even act as a keepsake at the end of your library adventure!

Try New Things
Enjoy activities and experience kits curated by your Centre County Library and Historical Museum librarians. Activities will include weekly take-and-make kits and weekly themed activities in your field journal. We’ll also provide suggested reading lists according to your age group each week to help you stay inspired!

Win Prizes
Earn raffle tickets based on the minutes you read and the activities you complete. Once you have earned a ticket for an activity, you cannot earn another ticket for that activity. Adults will need to read 1 hour for a ticket. Teens will need to read for 30 minutes for a ticket. Kids (participating in the Elementary or Pre-K categories) and patrons participating in the Diverse Abilities category will need to read 15 minutes for a ticket. Spend these tickets at your local branch to win weekly prizes.
Every ticket entered will be included in our grand prize drawing at the end of the Summer Library Pursuit. Each of our library branches will award a grand prize.

We are offering a referral incentive for the Summer Library Pursuit (SLP)! Refer up to 10 new participants to the SLP and receive extra grand prize raffle tickets (1 ticket per new participant referred). It's a win-win: let your friends and family know about the program and get additional chances to win prizes! Here's the top 5 things to tell possible referrals about the program:
It's a reading and activity program for EVERYONE, all ages and abilities
You can participate as much or as little as you want
